RRECL grants extension till 24.11.2021 to complete the projects under Rooftop Solar Subsidy Scheme

RRECL submitted the extension request based on the requests and reasons by empanelled vendors. REAR wrote to MNRE to confirm the grant of extension. Vendors are already facing various issues like availability of DCR modules, delay from Discom sides for NOC and net-metering procedures and last but not the least, the hike in GST from 5% to 12%. In this regard, vendors are looking at you for extension so that at least, they can assure the completion of project in hand or the projects whose DPRs are already approved by RRECL.

Finally; MNRE confirmed REAR that 2 months extension is already conveyed to RRECL. In ref to the same, RRECL issued letter to all empanelled vendors that projects under Rooftop Solar subsidy scheme could be completed till 24.11.2021.

The discom formalities are taking more than expected time. In this month only, till now there were 10 days holidays observed by Discom hence, vendors are facing a lot of issues in net metering and NOCs etc.
