SOLAR SUBSIDY DBT SCHEME:-

Govt./MNRE (Ministry of New & Renewable Energy) with a motive to simplify the Rooftop Solar Subsidy in Residential Sector launched the DBT (Direct Beneficiary Transfer) Scheme, wherein beneficiary/consumer who want to install solar project at his house can apply at the national portal and get the system installed from the desired vendor and once the system installed as per the parameters and procedures of the scheme. The beneficiary will get the subsidy amount directly in to his account with in 30 days of all the formalities done as per the scheme.

Process for installation of Rooftop Solar system at residential house under simplified procedure:- 

The applicants willing to install rooftop solar system under simplified procedure will be required to apply through National Portal. In order to register at National Portal the applicant will require an active mobile number and an active e-mail id. The applicant will also have to download SANDES APP for received OTP.

To avail subsidy under the National Solar Rooftop Portal in Rajasthan, you can follow these steps:-

  1. Visit the National Solar Rooftop Portal (https://www.solarrooftop.gov.in/) and register as a user.

  2. Read the guidelines and instructions for availing the subsidy carefully.

  3. Fill out the online application form with all the necessary details.

  4. Upload the required documents such as identity proof, address proof, and bank details.

  5. Once you have submitted the application form, you will receive an acknowledgement.

  6. The Discom officials will verify your application and provide the in principle approval and NOC to go ahead for project installation.

  7. Once the system will be commissioned, Discom officials will inspect the system and verify it.

  8. After verification, you will be eligible for the subsidy and you can upload the inspection photographs, net metering certificate and other required details and documents.

  9. The subsidy amount will be directly credited to your bank account with in 30 days.

Things to be taken care while applying for Solar subsidy scheme

When applying for a solar subsidy scheme, there are a few things that you should take care of to ensure a smooth and hassle-free process:

  1. Check Eligibility: Make sure you meet the eligibility criteria for the subsidy scheme, including the capacity of the solar rooftop system, location, and other requirements.

  2. Choose a Reliable Vendor: It is important to choose a reliable and certified vendor for the installation of the solar rooftop system. You can check the list of vendors approved by the government or subsidy provider.

  3. Proper Documentation: Ensure that you have all the necessary documents required for the application, including identity proof, address proof, bank details, and other supporting documents.

  4. Complete Application Form: Fill out the application form completely and accurately, including all required details and documents.

  5. Understand the Process: Understand the process of the subsidy scheme, including the timelines, verification, and disbursement of the subsidy amount.

  6. Follow-up Regularly: It is advisable to follow up regularly with the subsidy provider or the government agency to know the status of your application.

  7. Maintain the System: Once the solar rooftop system is installed, ensure that you maintain it properly and regularly. This will help to ensure the longevity and efficiency of the system and will help you to receive maximum benefits from it.

CFA (Central Financial Assistance)/ Subsidy Calculation under DBT Scheme:- 

Govt. has fixed the amount of subsidy payable by Govt. on per KW basis, which is Rs. 18,000/KWp for projectss up to 3 KW and for projects above 3 KW and up to 10 KW, it will be Rs. 18,000/- per kW for first 3 kW and thereafter Rs. 9000/- per kW.  For projects above 10 KW, Subsidy is fixed at Rs. 1,17,000/ KWp. 

  • Up to 3 kW :- Rs. 9,000/- per kW

  • Above 3 kW and up to 10 kW Rs. 18,000/- per kW for first 3 kW and thereafter Rs. 9,000/- per kW

  • Above 10 kW Rs. 1,17,000/- fixed
