Find an empanelled vendor: The National Rooftop Solar Portal has a list of empanelled vendors who have been approved by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) for installing solar rooftop systems. Choose a vendor from this list and request a quote for the installation of the solar rooftop system.
Apply for subsidy: Apply for the subsidy by filling out the online application form available on the National Rooftop Solar Portal. You will need to provide details such as your name, address, Aadhaar card number, and bank account information, as well as details of the solar rooftop system you wish to install.
Verification: After submitting the application, it will be verified by the government agency. They may ask for additional information or documentation to verify your eligibility for the subsidy.
Installation: Once your application is approved, you can proceed with the installation of the solar rooftop system by the empanelled vendor.
Inspection: After installation, the solar rooftop system will be inspected by the government agency to ensure that it meets the required standards.
Subsidy disbursement: After inspection, the subsidy amount will be disbursed to your bank account.
